Just bought 1971 Chevy c-10 suburban

Well the manual say C-10 but I have no idea. On the side although you can't see it well it says Custom 10 so I think that is why. I wish it was a 3/4 ton but these are so few and far between I had to jump on it. The four wheel drive works perfectly and the motor is a crate replacement with...

    First FZJ-80 Finally!

Finally joined the club and scored an FZJ-80. Tough decision because I love the 60's but having just got rid of my VW camper buses I wanted something alittle more modern and comfortable. Next up mods!

The listing expired but now he has reposted it. I'm really thinking about buying it. Seems like it's a one time type of thing as there are probably not any other diesel IH like this around.

Yes we are very excited too. It's funny because it's like designing and building your own personal house on wheels. I can't wait. I'm hoping to do a trip to Alaska in it when i'm done. Photos will definitely be posted. :victory:

We were very lucky. When we finish him, he should be very nice and loads of fun. Here is the link to...

Cross Country trip in our 1959 Crown Coach

Glad it's working, I know we really don't have an expedition compared to most of the guys but maybe we get credit for the guts to try this trip in a 50 year old vehicle we really knew no history on. :Wow1: That's got to count for something. :)
