been there done that... my wagoneer used to be wood grain, best combo i found was spray it with chemicals to soften it up and peal if off, whatever wouldn't come off would get sprayed with chemicals again and then power washed

we've been doing patriot ball joints with as little as 10-15k miles, just did one this morning actually and did one with 20k miles last week, both sides actually i would never buy one....

just a note, most auto parts places do not like the use of any container previously used for coolant as contamination is a factor (they get fined) also, juice and milk containers WILL break down if you neglect to take them in for a bit of time as far as leaving your containers, most auto parts...
