I've never used a canvas tarp for a trailer but I do have a heavy duty duck canvas tarp I use to cover my tent cot. It has done a great job keeping things dry, clean and it is very durable.

No. No. Yes. Even here in Colorado there are only a few occassions where we need a heater so efficiency is not very high on my list. Cost and effectiveness are most important to me.

For summer time trips I still prefer a solar shower. I just put it up in the roof rack and it gets very hot. Nice and simple and they only cost about $20.

Did yours come with the Marinco 6 amp charger/tender? That's what my Chaser came with. Mine has never made a noise at all. Your best bet is to give Mario a call. I'll go through my paperwork and see if I can find anything about the noise.

Are talking about the on board charger that is making noise or is it the battery bug that is mounted on the battery itself? If it is the battery bug, the small black module, then the beeping is due to your battery being drained and or dead. Once you recharge the battery the beeping should go...

I'd go with the Toyota set up. Those old trucks are just way cool and I think that option has more benefits and flexibilty. The only thing I wish the Toyota had was a Toyota engine like a 5VZ-FE.
