Finally replaced the rear door! And then sold it for $5,000! It's been fun, maybe I'll do another one in a year or so now that I have some more ideas on how to improve version 2

Mine is full pine plywood, sealed and painted. Holding up great after 12 months and about 3000 miles later

Looking to buy an ARB bumper for a 3rd gen 4runner/1st gen Tacoma. Willing to drive to pick it up, I am located in Greenville, SC. WIlling to go about 3 hours from here.

Finally changed my side doors. This has been on my mind since last year. So much better now! I'm saving the rear for later this month, have a few other projects to button up before the Adventure Van Expo this coming weekend.

Have you considered adding a gas strut or two to help lift it? I think my RTT is 150lbs, so doing it by hand, unaided, is going to be tough I think.

I was thinking that starting with the NT trailer would save me time, and it did not lol. We are building two more currently and I started from scratch on them, way better than starting off with the prebuilt frame from HF/NT.

Not to me, we really stick to mainly FS roads the like. We don't do any serious rock crawling or anything so clearance has never been an issue in any of my rigs. Shock length is all about travel not ride performance, again since this trailer will only see dirt/gravel roads, having long travel...

Also I decided to add a slide in the rear to make it easier to get things in / out. These were the slides I used. The frame is just made from leftover wood that I used to make the main body. I also ordered these doors to replace the ones on there now, hoping to get them replaced this weekend!

Some updates! Been using the hell outta this thing this year so I decided to finally add some shocks! WAY better now and I wish I would have done it at the beginning. Ordered these shocks from Lippert and fabbed up my own brackets for them. It seriously rides so good now on and off pavement.

I've been looking into an EKKO for a while, its really between that and a new REVEL. I really can't wait for these to get in more peoples hands. I'd love to see it with a 2-4 inch lift and see what it can doo off the pavement.

A cutaway AWD transit is $30k before even adding on the camper portion which is another $50k from Total Composites, way out of budget. Also most of the vans we looked at (Sprinters and Promasters) didnt have bathrooms, with is a must have. I'm a full time worker and a full time masters student...

So we are in the planning stages of living full time in a truck camper in 2023 ('17 f-250 Super Duty) and are constantly going back and forth on the hard side vs pop-top. Does anyone have any experience living in both, and what are your insights? The internet is full of comments leaning one way...

Yeah having a title is nice when I go to sell it, luckily here in SC no tag is required! Crazy they wanted receipts for the paint and stuff!
