Fuel on roof. Fore or aft?

Cool piece of kit Ida, but fairly impractical for most folks looking to just add some range to their vehicles. TruFlo has several oversized tank options, but not for everyone and every vehicle. YMMV

Fuel on roof. Fore or aft?

And the smell. I have cans that have been empty and aired out for years, and they still smell. Don't want my interior to hang onto the stank. But as set, YMMV--

Fuel on roof. Fore or aft?

Interesting topic, and any weight in the "wrong" location can still work, but generally not as efficiently. I would also never travel with gas cans, full or empty, in my cabin unless it was a question of survival--YMMV. Gas weighs 6lbs, diesel 7lbs, water 8.3 lbs a gallon+ weight of can...

    4x4 Fuso for Sale

Man it seems like a great place to start though--much more so at the original price though. It was probably the HOA that killed his project though ?

WTB the Largest Hardsided Locking Roof Carrier Box...

Herbie, thank you for responding. I am looking for aerodynamic with more volume. The Thule is lightweight (if even a wee bit flimsy) but the big XXL boxes (22 CF) and at $650-$850 are generally only 36 inches wide, so I figured there must be something the same height and length, but a bit...

    12v Compressor fridge at Costco.

I had a cheaper unrelated version from back in the day, and it was great on road trips where you had to keep food cool. No roller so you had to break your back to haul it inside the motel room to plug it in to an outlet to keep it cool till morning. Then haul the beast back to the ride. This...

WTB the Largest Hardsided Locking Roof Carrier Box...

WTB the Largest Hardsided Locking Roof Carrier Box for a Ford Expedition, preferably with some aerodynamics to help out. Most of the carriers I find only seem to take up to 2/3rds of the available roof area (width-wise), but I am looking for something that will take up nearly the whole roof...

    200 Series Lockers/Traction Control

I've been looking at the 2019/20/21? LC and impressed by everything I've read and researched on them. My only limitations are it is not perfect for me at that price point (and I could list my druthers but if it checked 1-2 more big boxes for me, I'd buy it). My big question though is why no...

Ideas for improving cellular reception IN my truck box.. (living space)

The cell phone booster are the only way to go, TTBOMK. And they only work if there is a signal. You may need to even go with hard wiring, or play around with where the thing should be mounted. Let us know what you choose, please?
