stainless half pros should be good forever if taken care of... if they rust then its not stainless or you added iron somehow from scraping it with steel etc. the takibi grate is chromed steel which is why it rusts once the chrome is comprimised by heat and scraping etc. i just use my half pro on...

you can get some of the petromax cast iron items from Lehmans in Pennsylvania . it sells out usually so if you see it you have to buy it because they only import so much at a time.
