anyone have a small takibi with charcoal bed and also a 1unit BBQ box? online it looks like the small takibi coal bed should fit in the coal tray of the 1 unit BBQ by 2 mm width wise but not sure how accurate the dimension specs are of the small coal bed. or of someone has the small coal bed...

Finally got a 1unit BBQ box!!! Friend brought some steaks over and I made some Salmon doggo thinks its all for him

with cast iron it shouldn't need a burn off like the half grill plate which is coated steel. that being said all my cast iron gets a wash and a seasoning cycle before i cook on it just to make sure the surface is in good order for food

maybe it fits on the double BBQ box? ?‍♂️

welp... i bit the bullet and ordered a 1 Unit BBQ box from Japan on Ebay... hopefully it works out and doesn't get damaged in shipping :D ill finally have all the modern 1 unit cooking options! still need to find me 1 or 2 of the 2unit frames .... also.... WANT! Anniversary griddle

facts! better option would be to get a baja burner (cheaper) and a cast iron skillet...or just any old skillet that you already have ?‍♂️ then you can add an IGT frame to it later if you are just starting out. people who just want an all in one package for table top cooking and no intention of...

can't decide if i like it or not yet... im not sure why but something about it makes me feel like they tried too hard when they could have gone more simple and probably lowered production costs too and still acheived the same style of table idea

for real! making a 2U frames is insanely easy being that they make 3U and 4U frames...its just a shorter aluminum chunk in the middle...the manufacturing process is identical otherwise. they could knock out 500 of them and ship them over here for the spring camping ramp up season and sell out...

or at least a routine limited quantity production run once a year or whatever. if people want one they best buy one when they come into stock, or they have to wait unless they are willing to go second hand like why are 2U IGT frames selling for $800? the one i slept on before retailers sold out...

its a stainless side shelf. they had them for a limited item a couple years ago so I snagged one just for fun. its pretty sweet for putting the cooking utensils on instead of laying them on the rest of the table space, but it doesn't hold a lot of weight like a corner table or table extension...

i said the same thing... if the sliding tops are not able to hide anything underneath, id rather have a 2u frame or an entry frame for sure. it could def be a cool little thing if someone wanted an easy to fold and store coffee table for their apartment etc though
