Hey drivers, I've decided to investigate a transmission repair on my Gen 1. Do ya'll know a good way to source a Gen 1 torque converter, or if the Gen 2 happens to be compatible? Thanks for any tips.

Had a reputable transmission specialist take a look. Tranny parts have just deteriorated with age. Torque converter fried and will need remanufactured unless I can find one! Dropping the price.

I've decided to get the transmission rebuilt by a pretty darn good local specialist.
