Looking at a new Dodge, help me decide!!! (Power Wagon vs Cummins)

Looking forward to seeing your new rocker guards. I'd like to figure something out to work with my amp steps. Might need to make something myself. I've been running 37s on my 04 for many years with a couple inches of lift. 35s just looked to small on the truck after I put some 2" springs on...

Jeep JK spring options... I need some input.

Interesting topic. I also don't think you need all the lift most kits provide for back country exploring. I managed to stuff 37s with stock springs and a puck up front for the added winch and bumper weight. ( I did some wheelbase modifications and fender mods to make it work) I would not mind a...

Looking at a new Dodge, help me decide!!! (Power Wagon vs Cummins)

Also consider how long you plan on owning the rig. The cummins should have a longer engine life. I would also consider a 5.9 cummins before all the emissions stuff. Could save you some coin for other upgrades. My vote cummins.

    JK on 40s???

I'm running 37s and think they would be a good choice for the long wheel base of the 4 door. If your staying under37s thinking a rubi is a good choice. If 40s I agree get a sport and some bolt in axles. I almost went that way.

    Power Wagon Rock sliders rails

I think they look interesting for the few times they might get hit it may be just enough. Thnkng they may also work with my amp research power steps. But none on their site for my rig. As for the jeep tj body mount sliders, mine take the weight of the entire jeep with no issues.

JK Wrangler home built expedition bumper

Thanks, the rear was somewhat simple as well. Yes an AEV tire carrier. I did some quick measuring. A 2"/4" 3/16 tube was slid info the frame. Then I welded a folate plate to the tube with the appropriate bolt holes for the shackle mounts. Inside the tube then welded bolts in place to hold it...

    OME lift for TJ Rubicon

A while ago, I ran OME springs with stock arms. Things were fine. You will net 3 to 3.5 inches of lift. Depending on what younhave on your jeep. Thinking since your arms are almost 10 years old it is time to upgrade. Rokmen for the win!!!!!

    Aev wheels or Hutchinson

Either will do the job. If purchasing new wheels they are not much more in the grand scheme of things. That bit of extra piece of mind is worth it to me. As for which one, I run them both. I've had AEV wheels on the TJ for many years, no issues. I now have AEVs on the JK, again no issues. The...

    Spray Can Sahara Tan??

Eastwood has a flat tan paint as well, but not in a can. Wondering how well it would match. Paintscratch.com should be able to mix it up as well, I almost went that route. The Mopar paint cans are small It took 2 of them just to do the fronts of 5 wheels.

Using TJ wheels on a JK

I was going to post up pics of my jeep with the adapters and the wheels you have, but you beat me to it. Lol glad I could help. I do like the fact that the aev jk wheels have the tires sucked in more than running the adapters and TJ wheels. They stuff in real nice All this said, the jk...

    Help - Confused about lifts

I'm sure you could also find someone in the atl area to go on a few rides with and see how you like their setups. But for 33's and your weight a simple spacer lift would work as well. Get you back to stock ride height. Out back different springs may be needed due to more weight when loaded...
