Well that was one of the goals. I have been playing with psi on my toyos. 50 seems to soften the dirt roads nice but you have to get back to 100 when you find pavement.
Remove weld splatter with sander, wire brush welds to remove any scale, wipe down with acetone/mek/ or any oil free solvent. prime with DTM primer(direct to metal) paint and enjoy. make sure any sealed tubing has a small drain hole to allow moisture out especially if you live where it freezes.
i installed buck stop front and rear on my 01 F350 in 02, they have seen a lot of miles and abuse ( pushing stuck forklifts out of the mud is just one memory) the fit and finish still look great to this day.
full buckstop kit and a re-gear? I hope the ride improvements are epic! The buckstop kit is a great one. i have many of their products. good stuff for sure.
