Is that with the diesel? I doubt OP is looking for a new diesel.
I do like the longer bed and 21 vs 18 gallon gas tank over the Ranger. It’d be a sweet truck if they use their 2.7 4 banger turbo in the next generation.
Or you could get a Ranger and go as fast as you want. Every new Ranger is rated for 7500 towing and ~1500 payload. Transmission cooler is standard equipment…
I’ve seen some of these class b’s where they mount the lithium batteries under the floor, open to the cold air(where they won’t charge). I’ve also seen some with no heating source.
Hopefully the Winnebago is made better.
If you’ve already got a couple power packs with the built in inverters then I would use a 120v kettle to heat your water.
You still wouldn’t have any way to boil water off of 12v but I’m not sure there’s a good solution there.
What’s your payload now? What does the payload sticker in the door say?
When you say payload for a 4 season camper are you talking about a travel trailer or truck mounted camper?
We had a trailer with an overall length of about 33’. I only had that one because I got a deal on it. We got that trailer into a lot of tight spots and I almost had a stroke many times, driving over curbs and hitting tree branches in state parks was the norm.
Now we’re about 33’ combined truck...
I did a house call for a guy for his slide. He took a week off of work to take the fam on a vacation. Hadn’t even used his trailer yet and the thing was stuck in his driveway. Slide components jammed, unfixable. Had to wait for parts.
