I carry a 0 degree Teton Mammoth and a couple of woobies. Its huge and comfortable for 2 people. If its too warm we sleep on top with the woobies. Its only downside..did I mention its huge.

The fan circulates more air. I have one of those also and it does not distribute as much heat. What is strange is the coil does not glow red and it does not feel that hot but the temp inside wherever you use it comes down and pretty fast.

Yes..I run it off my 2000W gen...I just run an extension cord into the annex and it sits on the floor in a corner. The heat rises into the main tent. I keep the gen pretty much for the heater alone. All my other electric power is 12V. It gets used around the house also..very good at heating...

If you have a 2000 W generator these work great. They are not you run of the mill space heaters. Designed as work tent heaters in Finland they will heat a RTT and annex really fast. Small and simple. I've had mine for about 3 years now. This is a pretty good price on them also...

Its apparent that the guy that designed it really put some though into it. It came with a hand written receipt. It think its just one person that hand builds them.

As you can see the top of the bird was a tad toasty. I dry brined it before cooking so it did not dry out and was delicious. But I for sure could have used fewer coals on top or checked it at 45 minutes. It creates alot of internal heat so the possibilities of indirect cooking are possible also...

After looking around for a dutch oven table I settled on one I actually have never seen. I like the design and bought one and when I put it together it looked like something that would help with cold weather cooking. So I gave it a shakedown in low 20 degree weather and roasted a whole chicken...

What is the difference between a HSE and a base unit? There is still a big price difference on used ones.

Thx for all that info. The info I could get together was the single X-fer case started in 14. The years I'm looking for are 12-13 now. I had a Disco back several years ago and have the fever again.
