XPCamper goes out of business, files for bankruptcy?

Almost all of the money was required up front. When I contacted Marc back in 2015, I was told it would be: $5,000 - Initial deposit upon signing contract $30,000 - When materials were ordered $30,000 - When flatbed AND shell was completed (Presumably at this point you could go and pick up the...

Wow! Jump On This Deal! Lo Mile Diesel 1ton 4x4 with Nice Alaskan Cabover on a service body....for LESS THAN $10,000 !

It's probably already sold and then will be re-listed on here for $29,000 in a few months. That seems to be the way things go. Someone should phone them and tell them it is underpriced and to list it for $20k to start and then work down from there.

Ram 4500 with Artic Fox 1150 tire pressure question

How many miles on the new tires? IIRC it takes about 3-5k miles for 19.5 tires to break in. Until then it is normal for then to float or wander.

That 2000lbs less includes lithium ion batteries and other weight reduction strategies. I am not sure how much of that is body related.

It's actually the opposite. If you have enough companies go bankrupt then you get to become president of the united states.

SOLD. 2018 RAM Carrier vehicle for an Expedition Camper - 7177 lb payload

While it is an unfortunate situation for both of you, it might help you both feel better to know it could have been much worse. I have a friend who put down a $30,000 deposit with a sprinter van builder and they went out of business 3 weeks later. Money all gone. Even worse they had his sprinter...

    Fraud/scam attempt via this forum.

Unfortunately this is very common online and many people do get scammed. Imagine if the photo had been legit and he hadn't sounded so dumb. Even people with a long post history cannot really be trusted because their account could be hacked. For what it is worth, scammers almost NEVER use paypal...

did I forget any "must have" option? Midwest 2020 custom F350 gasser.

Oh man I wouldn't go with the 6.2L over the 7.3L. The 7.3L looks like it is exactly the engine the world has been waiting for for about 80 years. Way overbuilt, built to basically be indestructible and built for harsh working environments. These will be the engines you see in uhauls and stuff...

XPCamper goes out of business, files for bankruptcy?

Apparently XP Campers was successfully acquired by a group of investors (some are XP owners) and they have retained key staff and will be resuming operations soon.

SOLD 2013 Tiger Malayan LT 4x4 4-season expedition rig

I already brought this up in a previous thread on this unit. It IS and WILL BE severely overweight per the sticker on the door once it is fully loaded wet. I would guess the wet weight to be somewhere around 11k but who knows. That being said, there wasn't really any difference in 2012 between...

SOLD 2013 Tiger Malayan LT 4x4 4-season expedition rig

Just curious how come such little use on it? I tracked this one for a while. When it sold (presumably when you bought it) around January 2018, it had 33,000 miles on it and was in Vancouver BC. The drive from Vancouver BC to Malibu CA is around 1,300 miles. So that puts odometer at 34,300. Today...
