aisin hub swap in part question

Well don't I feel like a **************... I got a set of hubs shipped out here with hardware. Rebuilt them, opened the hardware bag, and of course, theres the two gold bolts with washers. Sometimes I wonder how I survived a live birth...

I need an entry level AR 15 education

A lot of hard dudes put bad guys in the ground for good with those cheap mags. Remember that those mags were never designed to be reused. They were thin metal and cheap to make because they were designed to be used, discarded, and replaced. They are cheap on the surplus market. Buy them by the...

Good online source for first aid supplies

+1 for North American Rescue, Adventure Medical, and Rescue Essentials. I visited NAR's facility in SC in 2012. Super friendly people who were more than happy to show me around after I dropped in without calling. I was on my way back from Southeast Overland and had to check it out. Adventure...

Vehicle 1st Aid Kit, what am I missing?

+1 to the book- "Wilderness and Travel Medicine" by Eric Weiss MD". Great reference. I'd add some type of occlusive dressing too. You mentioned you were CLS trained, so I'm sure you remember chest seals, etc. Have something that you can treat both pneumothorax and tension pneumo. Chest seals...

    Wilderness First Aid Course

I took my WEMT at SOLO in NH with Dr. Hubbell and the gang. It was 23 days long, and pricey, though I used the GI Bill to pay for it. It was an outstanding course, and paved the way for more training that soon followed. I live in a pretty remote area, and work/travel all over the world, usually...

aisin hub swap in part question

So I'm swapping in Aisin manual hubs on my 95 T100. I know that there is a gold bolt on the face of the axle shaft that is prone to breaking. This bolt is revealed when you take off the grease cap. For the life of me, i cant find this part name or number on the Toyota parts diagram. I am worried...

    BEWARE OF RTIC COOLERS

I have a Yeti Tank 45, a Yeti Tundra 45, and an Engel Deep Blue 35. They each have their own uses, but I would agree the Yeti products are built very well. I just ordered one of these RTIC 65's because it was so cheap, and it fills the role of backup fridge at my camp. It will most likely never...

    NoahGenda's 1997 T100 SR5 overland build.

I love that front bumper, man. I have my T100 abroad with me, and I am thinking about having someone local fab something up. Right now I am just running Rigid Duallys bolted to the stock bumper. I'd be interested in something aluminum as I do not plan on running a winch. I found my T100 on a...

    Best Offroad GPS unit

I am using a Garmin Montana 650T with 12v power in a RAM/Panavise Mount, with the Garmin GA 25MCX external antenna on the roof. Great combo. Plus I can detach everything and go handheld if I need to dismount. Garmin GPSMap 60csx as a backup.
