Essential tools for long distance trips?
+1 I wrapped my tail pipe around my axle backing down an aborted hill climb (LJ have fat rear ends that drag on everything). If I hadn't had a hacksaw I would have been screwed (completely pinched shut when all was said and done) a sawzall would have been a mega-blessing to have along. I went a...- broken1

First Gun - what shot gun
A few years ago I was looking at the Mossberg 500s and Remmy 870s as well. I went with the 870 in 7 shot black synthetic flavor. My two factors were Remmy safety is located on the triggerguard, to the rear, in a cross-bolt fashion similar to other firearms I had, and the receiver is all steel...- broken1

2006 Jeep Unlimited LWB opinions.
Assuming excellent condition I think that is a very good price. I had always wanted an LJ and I bought one about a year and a half ago. 2004 non rubi ~90K Auto 2"BB 31s for 13K. I probably could have looked harder and paid a little less, but I liked this one after looking at 2 or 3 and it was in... -

Funny. I just contacted them last week asking about the potential for adding 33X10.5/15 and/or 255/85/16 to the Duratrac line. I got (paraphrased) "There are no plans in the works now, but we'll forward on to Marketing..." :(- broken1
