    Electric Chain Saw

Bumper/swingarm box for my little battery Makita, Honda generator, propane cans, grill and anything else smelly or funky like that that I don't want in the van. I have carried it inside certain rigs but it still has a bar oil tank and can leak. They all can in certain situations.

    JK/JL Jeep Camper Concept

I saw Dan's latest video this week cutting his Jeep apart for the conversion. Nice work! I can't wait to see what you guys do with the interior. Any pics of inside progress anywhere yet?

The quest for the perfect van seats

Don't say Scheel-Manns, unless you're buying. Help me brainstorm some alternative ideas for front van seats. I know the usual players, Sienna, etc. but I know there are some other good options I'm not thinking of. I can fab any flat bottom seat to my swivel bases just about but seats designed...

Who has used a rear winch? Do you think it is necessary?

@unreng, I'd ditch the rear winch for sure if you're trying to lighten up. You can get creative with your front mounted winch if you need to pull backwards and you have some other recovery gear.

Help Needed Sourcing Onan Genny Part for Tiger Camper

I know you know what national back order means basically but I can shed a little bit more light on it and perhaps help with an idea. I deal with commercial trucks and many parts are on National back order since Covid. It's one of those things the world just still hasn't figured out. It makes...

Help Needed Sourcing Onan Genny Part for Tiger Camper

I was going to suggest the same. Possibly even a big equipment/truck salvage yard that has some oddities around, such as...... https://www.vanderhaags.com/ Or.... https://colawrvsalvage.com/

Determining safe tire load rating required

If I'm loading up a camper or truck with camping things, people and gear it's going to have E rated tires on it, especially if I'm off-roading, which is what I do with any truck I own. My light Jeep JLU is the only thing I have owned in years without E-rated tires and that's just because it's...

CRT ( Core Removal Tool ) Tire Inflator

I got some of the links to post but not the Amazon one. Can you try again? Amazon links just show a blank spot on this forum lately. I've been meaning to ask if i was the only one experiencing this.

    The Oversleeper

I don't need it. This is not a camper that I do many long trips in and it's her daily driver so removing the Rotopax and thus removing all water from the Jeep makes more sense as a year round daily driver. I am building another van (I've built many) which will have a full water system and be...

Camper Vans with 4 Real Seats and Sleeps 4

Very hard to find unless you have it custom built. You might find an older Sportsmobile or something similar but 4 real seats and beds for 4 in a van is a very tall order.

    Electric Chain Saw

I have the Makita 10" top handle arborist saw. For a battery saw I love it but if you frequently work with gas saws you won't work for long at home without going for a more powerful saw. I had the Lowe's one before and it was actually quite good but much bigger. The Makita is the smallest...

Vehicle Fridge/Freezer That Stays Cold for 24-48 hours w/o Power?

This thing is going to be heavy even with lithium but man are we living in the golden age. If this had come out a year or two ago I bet it would go for $500 but I can easily see them asking a grand or more for this in today's inflated dollars. Edit: HA! I was spot on. $999 on Amazon.

Is there such a thing as too much light at camp .........If you have to ask.

Vehicle Fridge/Freezer That Stays Cold for 24-48 hours w/o Power?

You get out of life what you put in to it. What's hard about wiring a fridge? It's a fused positive and a negative from a battery.

    Good Idea? Bad Idea?

There is no glare with the Cascadia Jeep panel. Matte finish. Better than the hood before it.

Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

Check out the suitcase type ones. You just need a hose to the truck and a power source. I've seen some neat home builds using a Pelican case. That way, just carry when you need it. Personally, I'd mount one fixed but I understand if you don't want to cut holes. However, your rig is pretty...
