    New to me pro4x

If you’re in the market for bumpers, or sliders, I suggest you look at these two threads. I have a Shrock front bumper but replaced my Shrock rear with one from this guy that had swingouts. The build quality is every bit the equal of Shrock or any of the others. The welds are works of art...

    Bad Elf or Garmin GLO

Know nothing about the Elf. Have been using the Glo for 4 years with a WiFi only IPad. Been flawless. It’s mounted to the roof of the truck behind the headliner and signal has never been an issue. No complaints at all

    2012 Frontier Pro4x CC expedition/overland type build

This is good advice. With the exception of a roof top tent, your truck will equipped similarly to mine. But I do tow a camper so the hitch weight probably approximates that of the tent. I installed a md OME leaf pack and am now in the process of adding the leaf to make an hd.

Dry fire for improving shooting accuracy

Actually seems to be pretty accurate. If nothing else, I’m more aware of poor trigger control as it occurs. If your pistol has a standard rail, it fits fine. Otherwise, they have adapters that seem to mostly attach to the mag base. All my pistols are non rail except one G19 which is what...

Dry fire for improving shooting accuracy

My son-in-law gave me one of these for Christmas. Remains to be seen how helpful it will be, but it has to improve things. https://mantisx.com/

    Camper shell and OME

Just for further info - my 2007 Frontier KC 4x4 has an ARE top. A Yakima rack usually holds 3 5 gal gas cans and a case full of recovery gear. Also tow a travel trailer with an approx 400 lb tongue weight. I use the Dakar medium pack with Nitrocharger shocks. It’s is still more than...

    2010 Frontier Pro4x build

Replaced mine with a Pathfinder foot e brake. BUT mine is a 2007 and all I had to do was order pathfinder parts and it bolted right in. Took less than an hour. Don’t know if the same would apply to a 2010

    Another bumper question (Fontiers)

I’ve never understood the airbag issue. As far as I know, which probably isn’t very far, airbag deployment is controlled by what is basically a decelerometer mounted under the center console. My Shrick bumper bolted into the factory bumper brace mounting holes so I would think the crumple...

    Shrockworks Frontier Front Bumper

My post on Club Frontier when I installed a Shock bumper and winch http://www.clubfrontier.org/forums/f10/another-shrock-front-bumper-78997/ My opinion fwiw is the stock springs wouldn't fair very well.

Voltage generated by an LED light??

Lo and behold I believe you've got it. ( I think) Is the little brown thing a capacitor? Hooked a test light to it and after a minute or so, no voltage. I'm going to assume there's no issue with a volt or so hanging around? Thank you gents - learned something new so that makes it a good day.

Voltage generated by an LED light??

See why I'm confused? :) What in the world would be inside? I've got a bunch of different LED lights and none of them show this. All six of the Kawells do. I'm tempted to take one apart but then I wouldn't really know what I was looking at if it was more than LEDs and wire.
