Looks like the “downspout” has been deleted on the new model.
Not enough of a difference IMO to move me over from two (2) current Foxwing awnings though.

My vote is iPad and GAIA GPS.
I've used for years now and am very happy with the hardware and software. The nice thing about an iPad is it can be used to surf the web/email, ETC. when not in navigation mode.

Baja rack (5 years) 24/7 exposure to elements. Powdercoating is starting to look chalky. No rust, issues otherwise.
Foxwing awning mounted (2.5 years) 24/7. Mounted with two ballast clamps (anodizing has faded).
Everything is SOLID and I use it almost every weekend.

Our Turtleback has a mount system that is raised when in camp and lowered for the road.
