How to pee in the outdoors (for girls) rated PG.

Female soldiers serving over-yonder in the Big Sand Pit had a serious issue as it involved hundreds of civilian and military onlookers in a totally open desert. I learned they used their issue ponchos that once totally employed, concealed them while performing the sit and squat maneuver. I am...

    Old YJ versus new Rubi

I cannot ever recall spending any time in a Wagoner, but I most surely recall those beast! For how long we used a highly used /abused 1961 Dodge Polaris as if it were a Wagoner--Priceless! Add air suspension to it made it automatically capable of getting everyone and everything into and out of...

    Old YJ versus new Rubi

Keyword in my post regards my 1988 YJ, is the fact it was all stock, at the time no aftermarket suspension was available then. As the years went by more aftermarket suspension solutions came along to include the all-important electronic fuel injection system that vastly upgraded not only the...

    Old YJ versus new Rubi

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/rollover/unsafe/cron.html I was able to pull this off the Internet which gives a good synopsis of regulatory governmental interference with multipurpose all-terrain vehicle regulation. I am sure I could find information regarding the development...

    Old YJ versus new Rubi

Quickfarm, I am right there with you. Raised up exactly the same, only we had a high mountain cabin to boot. I lern't by way of Okie ingenuity at it finest! This is what you got... Learn to use what it is you got, cause boy! Thats all we got! Which, by todays standards is or has turned into...

    Old YJ versus new Rubi

I can totally understand your position here, in past years I too thought about building an entire older jeep frame style rig here in my garage. It would incure an expenditure totally incompatable with the wife as I am a Dave Ramsy grad and every dollar is accounted for. To a large degree I lack...

    Old YJ versus new Rubi

As a small child, i broke a tooth in 1961 getting smacked by the rear seat frame while traversing farmland during hours of darkness. In retrospect, it was thrilling to be a part of such an event, yet, older thinking has me realizing such a small land vessel was nothing other than a relic ATV...

    Old YJ versus new Rubi

Oh... I am not any sort of regular viewer if you will, a friend sent me the video and it brought back fond memories of younger days and great trips. Thank you for putting it all into better perspective Gary Note. I did see a few of their other reviews via YouTube.

    Old YJ versus new Rubi

Interesting how two guys mixed with low budget film making results in this much negativity. The video merely sparked nowadays forgotten memories of off-highway travel. Other than 30 inch Norsemen Radials, I could not afford bigger wheels and lift. As for the two men doing the eval/comparision...

    Old YJ versus new Rubi

My YJ was mostly stock form except for tires. i had the Safari edition and man did I love that crappin jeep! Those sunken in headlights so military I thought. But articulation wise, pounded me to death off road, carburator spit fuel all over engine compartment and a plastic fuel tank that failed...

    Old YJ versus new Rubi

This video brought back many memories for me. I was so proud/excited when I purchased a new YJ, only to discover quickly how horrible a jeep could be. These guys take an old 95 and pit it against a 2015 unlimited. Lack of articulation, well you'll see. http://youtu.be/wWjBipdqYYI

    Windshield Frame Mount

Yes, i agree, in looking at it closer the idea would make better since welded to a regular roof rack. I believe the front left forward area of the jeep hood will make the best location. Guess I better get with it then... Thank you all for your suggestions

    Windshield Frame Mount

Thanks guys, regarding the ground plane, if a guy fabricated an 18"X18" round copper or Metal to the lightbar itself, thus placing either a mag mount ant. Or permenant Larson right ********** in the middle? Would that make for better transmision and reception?

    Shock Question Again

For much of the time I do run pavement, but then my trek up a county maintained road littured withpot-holes and sudden rock boils in the road make ah guy go "YIPPEE" when at certain speed on one side of the rig is up and the other side teetering () Jus-kidding, but in the old...

    Windshield Frame Mount

Would like to know if any Jeepers have experience with 2m antenna mounted to center of windshield lightbar? I have studied the many other locations, but, the clanging and banging sound/s do not interest me. As for banging into tree limbs and such, not much of an issue anymore as I stay pretty...

    Shock Question Again

So? Maybe the head houncho for Tera Flex was right, Fox? There is alot of open desert here where I live. This is the best time to be out there as well. Of course I have seen King shocks, but dang! That would eatup money for other stuff I also need. Regards to trailer towing, I'm a big fan of...

    Shock Question Again

in researching other post, I read positive opinions regards adjustability for trailering. Having a mountain cabin has me oftentimes hauling stuff so again, try before you buy is a good thing. Yes, I realize the cost will be more, but, I am so happy with my Jeep my kid will end up with it when...
