I think a bit more research may be needed ..... here are just a few things off the top of my head .... do not rely just on load .... that may be a dead lift load rating .... which it is a good rating but if it is an open weave rope it will collect sand and grit and wear the rope down quickly...

I think that would work just fine .... you are talking about just loading it ... not transporting it on the lift ...correct??? ..... downside for the naysayers might be harder on the pump ... and if equipped with a low voltage thermal switch it may pop off if current gets to high for pump motor...
