Baller on a budget here we used a Plano ammo tote $15 Amazon. Has compartments and sealable incase something leaks or left outside. I do like the tool bag or backpack ideas as well.

Appreciate the detailed reply I will check out your link. The new battery set up is definitely an upgrade. We can go 4 days no problem. This should suit us fine we typically only camp 3-4 days - long weekends. While traveling 2-3 hrs it charges off the trailerplug basically enough to keep the...

Maybe something to keep in mind is building material sizes... built ours 4x6 because 3/16 alum sheets come 4x12 and couldn’t afford waste. Walls are around 36”, with 35” tires, fridge, RTT and kayak racks etc We have a TJ and JLU good luck w your build

    RTT mattress thickness

I believe your RTT is very similar to our Shittybilt in size etc. We use a 3” memory foam from Amazon on top of the mattress that came w the RTT. It’s shorter so pillows fit great also have full size sheets on the topper. It closes fine it’s def thicker and we have to pull it down tighter if...

@connor016 Yeah I’d plan around your RTT, I like ours but a XL would be nice but just couldn’t justify it... I’m a baller on a budget LoL The rack changed, original plan worked great I just wasn’t tall enough. And we take our yaks every trip we’ve kayaked caves rivers lakes etc - tip I kept...
