    Got Scammed by SAMUE

Zelle makes it clear not to send money to anyone you do not know; instant money transfer. Paypal would offer some recourse if used or a major credit card.

    Prime Jackery deal?

Jackery has refurbs/open box units for hefty discounts if you call direct or email. I picked up an Explorer 1000 for half off. I do agree that the tec/price is improving with other brands too.

Where to mount my kayak? Side mount or HF trailer?

The double stack...mount on top of the solar panels, put the panels under the kayaks on slides to pull out toward the sun. I'd probably look at the Advanced Tandem for packing inside. Side mount is going to make you too wide.

    Material question

3/4" ply seems a bit heavy. Drawers can be 5/8" birch.

help me decide Toyo at III or Duratracs

Tire Rack in September...for my Express van. They skate around a bit, but lifted 3-4 inches. Make a bit of noise on certain asphalt surfaces. Hold confidently in tight/fast paved turns. Held traction in the snow last winter, but could get them to slide if not careful.

Pics of your VAN! Post up!

I was following the Old Blue build for the upper control arm mod. Ended up using the Cognito arms, no straps, General Spring leafs, Bilstein shocks, Toyo tires; handles much better than stock and gets me into some more remote places without damaging the hard parts.

Sweet deal it appears, do you list the miles? Here in the west, but this will make a nice hitch carrier bike for somebody out in Connecticut.

Budget 12V refrigerator (Costway, Alpicool, Vevor, BougeRV) - recommendations needed

I have the Alpicool LGcf45. I'm happy with the cooling operation, but it does make some sound that bothers the SO. We've been turning it off when we sleep. Mine is a fridge/freezer, I might have gone with fridge only for better efficiency. It was less than $300.

2005 came stock with the 16 inch rims. I just put Toyo OPEN COUNTRY A/T III LT235/85R16 tires on mine for more sidewall height, narrow footprint and cushion. Drives well in all conditions.

    Bilstein shocks on Express van?

I bought the upside down shackles, but the shop ended up using the originals. Sounds like no issues with the springs, control arm, or shocks. Lots of details here in the threads; but all my part numbers are accurate.

    Bilstein shocks on Express van?

No shock extenders. The part numbers are for the lifted length. I recommend the Cognito Upper Arm modification highly; improved the articulation immensely.
