    Boreas Campers EOS12

I thought only the floor switched to Transcore but I could be wrong. The previous floor was similar to Transcore but not exactly the same. I thought the walls were still FRP, high density foam and composite ribs. I may be forgetting exactly what I saw when I picked up my 2022. You notice that...

    Boreas XT

It's a pricey investment. I'll stick with my Class B cover for less than half that, especially after tax and shipping. Class B cover also has access points to all compartment areas and rear door without undoing the belly straps for quick access. The Class B cover also covers the full tongue and...

    OBI Dweller Review and Discussion

Does the Dweller roof have anything that fixes it in place on top of the walls other than the gasket friction and latches? There's no lip or anything? Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

    Boreas Campers EOS12

Pouring a catch bucket into the shower seems the best idea if there is another dump option at the campsite. If you use a funnel with a wider spout that will stand up in the drain hole and poor slow enough you should be able to avoid getting the shower pan wet. Even better if you could find one...

    OBI Dweller Review and Discussion

Yes. It is all about how secure that roof is when closed. When you get on rough trail and the trailer starts pitching and rolling, if that roof is shifting it puts a lot of tension on those fixed eye bolts that only have freedom of motion in one direction. I broke 3 out of 4 on my Boreas EOS-12...

    Skinny Guy Campers Armor

What kind of suspension is that? I'm having a hard time telling from the one picture. It says independent suspension in the info. Doesn't looking like a trailing arm and doesn't look like a Timbren style. Is it a torsion axle? Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

    Looking for input on trailers

Sorry, it was the Laveo you can get and not the Wrap-On. I couldn't remember which waterless toilet was the option. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

    Looking for input on trailers

I think the Arkto is a great option too. For me the lack of wet bath was the main deal killer although I also prefer the Cruisemaster suspension over the Timbren. The storage in the Arkto is amazing. I think I probably like the Arkto kitchen a bit more too. I prefer the electronic component mix...

    Looking for input on trailers

I haven't yet made it across a Cat scale so I can't confirm real numbers. Best I can say is that the Power Wagon has soft coils by comparison to a normal 2500 and a reduced cargo and towing capacity as a result. Think half-ton ratings. In fact, they technically say an F-150 can tow more. I call...

    Looking for input on trailers

Without knowing your LC's specific towing specs, I think you would be fine. Gross weight is 5,200lbs. I tow it with a Ram 2500 Power Wagon with the 6.4L gas engine. I'm on 37" tires though but have 4.10 gears and I hardly know it is back there so it's hard for me to judge. Sent from my SM-G991U...

    Looking for input on trailers

If you have specific questions about the EOS-12 let me know and I'll do my best to answer and give you my knowledge and experience. I picked mine up in late June. It's just me, my wife, and the dog. As far as price, yes, not cheap. Also, not as expensive as some other options and it is...

    Boreas Campers EOS12

This is I believe the real issue. It depends on your solar controllers rated limits at max solar production. I have 500W of solar on the roof with a 50/100 Victron MPPT. If they are producing a minimum 13.6V then that would mean 36.7A input current theoretically. 600W of solar would drive that...

    Boreas Campers EOS12

In my case the Zamp input port is not wired to the solar controller like the roof panels but directly to battery bank. Therefore when I get portable panels I will need to get panels with integrated solar controllers. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

    Boreas XT

I was eventually going to get a custom fit cover too but needed something ASAP for the AZ summer sun. This is a really nice cover quality wise. I needed it to hold up to the sun all summer. Since Boreas says they are working on a custom fit for the EOS I will wait and see what the come up with...

DFNDER, I love that L-Track idea. I might be stealing that one. We have some hanging clothing storage as well but have just been limited to hanging them from the roof safety hooks. Can you message me with any details to know about that L-Track install? I'm also with you DFNDER about the...
