WTB 2003-2006 Toyota Tundra Access Cab 4wd to haul FWC

Any interest in a 2006 Double Cab Tundra? Only has 87k miles and in great shape. Up to date on all maintenance and baselining (TB/WP, LBJ, fluids). Located in Boise.

    Toyota Trail Hunter Line up

Personally I'm not a fan of the concept version of it. Toyota just needs to make it simple and they already have the formula available to the rest of the world. Just let me buy a Toyota with options for ARB products from factory. CBI is great for a Bro-coma. They don't make armor that is OEM...

ATO AterraXL composite flatbed camper (pagoda roof)

Personally preference on the HBE but I still don't like the huge storage cabinet that used to store the toilet that's still there. It's great that it is a giant closet but it just looks huge and out of place. It adds to the confined space feeling inside the HBE. To get to bed you still have...

ATO AterraXL composite flatbed camper (pagoda roof)

OEV builds great quality campers but for some reason I feel very cramped inside them. They just don't feel all that spacious inside, even the flatbed models. I've toured the HBE, FX and X at the expo's and always got a tight feeling inside. Compared the Camp-X to the Supertramp and it's...

Reputable Toyota 4x4 Shops Near Boise?

I've lived in Boise for about 1.5 years. Moved there from B'ham. The only good Land Cruiser shop in Boise is Sun to North LC. The only issue is that they are always booked out for months. The really specialize in restomods for older gen LC's like the 60,70 and 80. For basic maintenance and...

    Flemster's 22 Ram 3500 Build - Sherpa Edition

This is awesome, only because now I'll be able to get a Sherpa rack for my 22' Ram 2500 :D

2019 Four Wheel Camper Flatbed and Australian-made Aluminum Norweld Tray on a Kitted Out 2017 4x4 V8 Toyota Tundra

Are you going to do anything to your Tacoma's frame when you overload with a FWC as well? https://expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/will-my-tacoma-survive-1000-miles-with-a-fwc-on-stock-suspension.234882/

    Ram 2500 Rebel

I'd be a little cautious believing what they say in regards to payload. Tim Esterdahl recently did a walk around of the Rebel and in the Cummins configuration the payload was only 1483 on the door jam sticker. Like 100lbs more than the Power Wagons. I know the 6.4L Hemi will have much higher...

    Vagabond Outdoors Drifter

Cash flow is not the problem here. They should have plenty of cash from all the deposits they've taken...

    Vagabond Outdoors Drifter

I think it was a reply to my comment that I hoped they didn't turn out to be like another Pelfreybilt. Taking in too many orders, way in over their heads, no real means of producing as many campers as they took deposits from and essentially funding current orders with new deposits. I mean that...

RSI smartcap or lightweight wedge camper (gfc)

Just different construction technique. GFC uses a lot of extrusion and rivets to form the camper body. Topo uses formed and welded aluminum to form the body. The less joints there are the stronger the body will be and less ways that there can be water/dust intrusion.

RSI smartcap or lightweight wedge camper (gfc)

Personally I'd probably get a wedge style camper or a straight pop-up like an AT Atlas, Topo Badlander or Ovrlnd Camper. If you plan to use it for ski and climbing trips it will be nice to have a place that you can stand up in to take a break, change or take a nap. Especially since you have a...

    Vagabond Outdoors Drifter

My thoughts exactly. We live in a copy cat society. Point being you only have so much time to become a leader in that niche before other companies arise. Vagabond IMO was one of the pioneers of the aluminum wedge campers. They had a lot of momentum early on, social media presence, forum...

Post Pics of Your Hard Side Camper!

Big brother always watching you!!! The price starting price seems very competitive and the build looks very nice. I prefer the interior space and layout more so than the Loki Icarus. The Loki is at minimum $50K USD more expensive and I just don't see how it's worth that much more. These...

Full timing: keep my Tacoma and get a nicer camper, or trade for a Tundra and get a beater camper?

I can empathize with you. Been looking over the last year for an HD rig at a reasonable price and they are definitely hard to find. What I often find are 5 year old trucks with 200k miles with an asking price of $40k. There are also plenty of 1-2 year old fleet/corporate vehicles with 20-40k...

    Supertramp camper

I don't personally own either but I have spent significant time in both. It's no contest, the Supertramp feels so open and roomy while the Camp-X is really tight inside. The ST also has much more internal storage space while being roomier as well, not sure how they worked that magic out. I...
