You will like the control system in your cab, much easier. I have a single gauge/dual display for my air bags in my 4500. I also have the ARB Twin compressor to run it, and have air connections on each side of my flatbed for tires/tools. Love your build, can't wait to see it completed.

I have a 2018 4500 and I have a Torklift Superhitch on it. I have the 6.4L Hemi. Big plus on the C/C trucks are the HD transmission options. I have a flatbed for my truck camper. I am very very happy with the set up.

How do I size the wire and fuses for my RAM 4500 with dual 380 amp alternators? Each one is 190 amp. I want to charge the house batteries (2 6v 220Ah each) in my truck camper. Guestimating I'll have about a 50' run (round trip). I have no idea how much 'need' the house batteries will require...

Ours (granted it's a 4500) wasn't hard to insure at all, our agent didn't even bat an eye. The state of Maine, however, nicked me pretty hefty for a commercial plate due to the GVWR.

I'm interested in what bumper you go with. Our 4500 is in and getting fitted for a flatbed as I type, for, of course, our Host Mammoth camper.....
