Has anyone installed beefier gas struts for the pop up roof? I feel like I'm going to blow a gasket when lifting my roof and my wife can't even do it by herself.
^^^ I have a leak somewhere in that area too, but I can't find it. The leak was discovered after the trailer sat through some rain, unused for a few days. The pillow was damp. Ay idea where your leak originates?
The fold down bunk cots were a bit small and noisy, so I replaced them with 3/8 Baltic birch. My son has more sleeping area than his parents now!
I had to cut the cots to get them off the hanger and retain the support pole sheath, so I hope they work out.
Anyone ever try one of these water flow meters to manage their water usage? I think I might install one.

Thanks. I think having an on demand tap bred non-chalant behavior compared to having a water jug on the side of a table. Also, I did some testing of the on-demand hot water before we left and didn't refill the tank. I didn't realize that little water pump could pump out 3 gallons per minute!
Just a question about the water pump. Are you guys generally leaving the water pump on whenever using the water or do you just use it to pressurize the system when needed? We got out on our first camping trip and we crushed through the water surprisingly fast. I'm used to the blue water jugs...
Thank you! That is very helpful. There are so many mods on here. It's hard to make sense of it all and electricity is a foreign language to me.
Coming from tent camping/backpacking, I don't forsee the need to run any 110v appliances, so I guess we are good there. I am wondering what I can add...
Hi Jared,
We were previously tent campers and I'm totally new to using a trailer. Having electricity is completely foreign. I see you have done some additions to your electrical system and I was hoping you might outline what you added and what the advantages are?
We have the stock Mission...
Just picked up my Summit. What an awesome trailer.
The interior volt reading LED is super bright but I remember reading that someone had sourced a flip cover for that panel? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
No worries, all good. Yes, I have been following everyone's trips on here and I must say, there's so many spots I would like to visit down there. I'm in Alberta. It has tons of spots as well, but it's different than many of the landscapes I see you guys posting from the South Western USA. I...
Absolutely. Since looking into these toilets, I have not come across a single disappointed reviewer. Considering the price we've paid for these trailers, I don't think judgment can be passed on what we choose to outfit them with. These toilets are hard to find in Canada, so I'm expecting to...
Thanks for posting that. I had never seen those units before. That's going to be the ticket for us. Expensive but, can you really put a price on not having to deal with crap? ;)
^^^ If viewing one in person is too much of a challenge, you can contact Mark on the Mission facebook page and I believe he will give you a real-time virtual tour through facetime or zoom.
I'm curious about this as well but, I think maybe you'd have to affix some steel plates using double sided tape in order for the magnetic hooks to stick.
