    Yetti's 2007 Outfitter Apex project.

Nice, always hated pulling the anode rod to drain the HW heater in my previous campers. is that from the pressure valve? I’m assuming you still have the anode rod. Jack

GX470 Unsprung weight grenading rear diff

It’s a big enough deal that every platform (GX, 4Runner, FJ) of that era talks about stripping the 8” ring gear teeth on their forums. Most of the big/well known Toyota driveline shops offer an upgraded rear axle (8.2, 9.5, D60) option for that platform, so there must be something to the...

2002 Duramax Solid Axle Adventure Build

Just be ready for it to get extremely dirty there, especially if you get into the desert silt beds. I hit some in eastern Nevada a few weeks ago and I washed the truck a few days ago (third time since the silt) and I was still getting silt out from under the spare tire area. Jack

2002 Duramax Solid Axle Adventure Build

My York gave up on me and I was in a crunch. I purchased an ARB dual compressor. When I originally installed my York, I mounted the air tank on the “Evap“ canister mount/bracket under the bed just in front of the rear axle. Now it was time to mount the ARB compressor and I looked all over for...

    Jack's 2007 Chevy Build

That’s what moved me to 18’s. 17’s seem to be left behind on load ratings. 18’s and 20’s are where the big three have gone on the new trucks, so it seems the tires are keeping pace with the increasing load ratings. And no worries about any hijacking; it’s all good as lo as information is...

    Jack's 2007 Chevy Build

Gotcha. I believe the 07-10 trucks, before they changed the wheel pattern, were wider than our 800 series trucks rims, yet kept the 8 on 6.5” wheel pattern. Jack

    Jack's 2007 Chevy Build

That’s great. I wish I would have gotten mine new. Bought it at 3 years old and 72k miles. Needless to say, it got driven those first three years. My Kryptonite stuck was still in perfect shape when I sold it, so you will be happy with it I’m sure. I did’t. I ended up using H2’s with the IFS...

    Flat bed options

Alum-Line here. Been on the truck over 45k miles carrying my Bundutec Free. Been all over the US, Northern Mexico, and Baja. I have not been nice to it and have twisted the truck up too many times to count. Camper is bolted to the bed. No problems and still looks new. Jack

    Jack's 2007 Chevy Build

Thank you. Just hit 206k miles and still love this truck. We’ve had ours two years now, it’s been a great camper and has certainly put up with a ton of abuse. Be strong! Jack
