Questions if I may: What is the turbo? What is boost at? Do you still have the original manifolds and air intake? Still have the OE wheels? What are the tires' size?

What newer/lighter materials would you use?
Would you keep galley-style, or keep all on a single side?
Wood or metal framing?
How would you now limit rattles?

No tire does well in mud. :) My pontification was quite tongue-in-cheek, but in most "overlanding" conditions, I think my statement holds somewhat well.

TL;DR: I now own a "slightly" rolled (2003) UZJ100 in the stable. Side airbags deployed so I don't even have said airbags to worry about anymore. A full rear corner of the vehicle is crunched. I'd really like to consider a camperback.
