    Ursa Minor Pop-Top Jeep JK

If I had it to do over again, I would also consider VersaTie rails. Gear did a good job with his, as seen many pages back in post #2169: https://expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/ursa-minor-pop-top-jeep-jk.81780/post-2703056

Haven’t done anything further about the ceiling storage, but spent 4 days on the Mojave Road last week and had a great time with friends. Also got to try out the new Adapter Shade Panel from ForceProtector Gear. High-quality and versatile equipment that packs small.

    Ursa Minor Pop-Top Jeep JK

I was thinking along the same lines and will check my upholstery shop. Perhaps given the uniqueness of the J30, Ursa Minor would have already filled this niche if there was a solid demand for the product. At least I’ve already done some mods to my top over the years and am not scared of...

Just heard back from BROG and they are not doing custom work. Anyone know another business that might be able to do this?

    Ursa Minor Pop-Top Jeep JK

Thanks, that’s a possibility. I’ll have to look more closely at it, though; I’m not sure the roll bar mounts will clear my cargo shelf, which is hinged to open upward, as well.

    Ursa Minor Pop-Top Jeep JK

I think they’d be open to it. Chris Schontz had some custom work done for storage in the tent, I believe, so they’re familiar with the J30. I’ll shoot them an email and see what they say. I’m looking for a simple net, rigged with their adjustable paracord to keep things tight. I don’t know if...

Anyone find or make a ceiling net for the rear cargo area? Blue Ridge Overland Gear’s vehicle attic is designed to go over the rear seats, but I’m looking for something that will allow me to store lightweight stuff behind the rear roll bar. Perhaps it can be modified?

SOLD: GP Factor Maxtrax rear tire carrier V1

Sold. Thanks for looking. Relocated my Maxtrax traction boards to the Jeep’s roof and no longer need this GP Factor rear tire mount (1/2” x 20 lug). $200 plus shipping.

    Ursa Minor Pop-Top Jeep JK

Ursa Minor installed the solar cable pass-through piece when I bought it, so I’d suggest checking with John or Kris for specific info; they might have started using something different, as well. The Renogy 150W panel is 39.5” x 39” x 1.4”.

Justin (a.k.a. Gear) was a big influence when it came to getting rid of my bulky Scipio awning and replacing it with Force Protector Gear tarps for better versatility and small storage form.

Just took off the solar panel to powder coat the brackets, repaint the sides of the panel, and clean this area up a bit.

The J30 came with the Thule rail option and I mounted the solar panel with brackets from DIYvan.com (http://m.ebay.com/itm/131702371613?_mwBanner=1). Note: You’ll want to measure between the two tracks and know the dimensions of your solar panel. You’ll give the measurements to Hein, the owner...

Any AEV Pintlers or Mopar equivalent for sale?

Thanks for the responses. I’ve exhausted my search for silver Pintlers and decided to save some money by getting a set of Quadratec’s Moabs in 17x8.5 to replace my original wheels.

Any AEV Pintlers or Mopar equivalent for sale?

If anyone has a lead on 5 silver AEV Pintlers (AEV-20402014AB) or Mopar’s equivalent (P5155981AB) for sale, I’d appreciate the tip. Old new stock, like new, or in very good condition would be preferred. Thanks!
