Taking advantage of the long weekend to catch up on some more maintenance! Replaced pads and rotors all the way around with OE AC Delco. Brakes feel 100% better even without a fluid change. My parking brake is still inoperable. I bought a rebuild kit but when I got the rotors off, the...

Previous owner lost the remotes so I ordered some cheap ones on eBay. They are not as heavy duty as OEM, but work great. Pairing was straightforward While changing the front wipers, I discovered why the washers are total ****: I pulled the battery to discover that the plastic line from...

This weekend we packed up the Burb and visited Mt. Rainier national park. It was a free weekend to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the national park service—so it was crowded. Packing up was easy—just bring everything: Before leaving, I ripped off the tired bug guard. It looked like a...

Does anyone know how I can rename this thread? I realize that I fat-fingered the title ('07 instead of '04).

Good to know. I was under the impression that you had to have a torsion bar unloading tool. But I guess that is what the breaker bar is for [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Really just plan on enjoying it for a while, but the short list: - Full panel of fluids - Weathertech liners all around - Crank the torsion bars a bit - Carplay deck + backup cam. Would love to do a wheel/tire/spacer setup like Jorian once the Cooper Discovery tires that are on it start to...

Thanks for the tips! It's a 1500, but ride is still super tight. I plan on adjusting the torsion bars a bit to bring the nose up. Moved up from an Acura MDX. AWD system was great, but too small and basically just a tall car. Thanks for the welcome!

Hi, I'm new here! My family and I just picked up our first real 4x4! 2004 Suburban, Z71, all options including G80 locker. 170k, spotless and tidy: We just recently moved to the Pacific Northwest. We needed something to haul us and all of our stuff while we explore this beautiful part of...
