You are probably right. I took out the original comment, but can't edit the quoted threads. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

    Winnebago EKKO

That is a fair statement. The current list price of the Ekko is $172k, but I see them advertised from $150k-$175k. I am sure you can get a better deal from a dealer though. The tire/lift upgrades are probably another $5k with labor? The AEONrv will be a bit more expensive, but it is still within...

Thanks for the feedback on the gray water. There are 2 ways to dump the gray water. There is a normal hose bib connection so you can drain it with a hose and direct the water anywhere you want. The 2" connection is also threaded so you could easily add on a 90 degree pipe if you wanted. We have...

New kid on the block! AWD Transit with composite camper AEONrv

We did consider the E-350 cutaway chassis fairly extensively, but we much preferred the more modern engine and design of the Transit. For our designated use cases we think the Ford AWD system with the LSD works awesome, especially in "mud & rut" mode with the larger BFG KO2 tires, 2" lift kit...

Thoughts on the Truckhouse Tacoma expedition camper...

We are another RV/Overlanding startup company based in Reno like TruckHouse. Hoping to create even more momentum for companies based in the area. We know these guys and they are doing something pretty cool, but with the obvious challenges others have mentioned so I won't repeat. We wish them all...

New kid on the block! AWD Transit with composite camper AEONrv

Hi Adam, Thanks for the awesome feedback and we are really excited you like our design so much! @Victorian has obviously been a big supporter and we appreciate that very much. It is not in the video, but the water tanks have a 4" marine cleanout on top to make it easy to clean or sanitize...

New kid on the block! AWD Transit with composite camper AEONrv

Hi, I was not sure if it was OK to post here or not, but I did want to clear up any confusion. I’m one of the co-founders of AEONrv. We still have not “officially” launched and our prototype is about 90% finished. It will have a custom bumper with hitch and recovery points. We are final stage...

Switching from Ford E-Series to FC/cabover (like Sportsmobile to Earthcruiser 4x4)?

Right now "all electric" means the camper systems are electric, not the drivetrain. It will be sometime until an all electric RV makes sense, but we are in discussions with both Ford and some other chassis manufacturers. We would not rule out in the future doing a converted 4wd on the E350 as we...

2 front facing seats with 3 point seat belts in camper, so 4 fully seat belted seats. We'll get full specs up on our website ASAP. Thanks.

Switching from Ford E-Series to FC/cabover (like Sportsmobile to Earthcruiser 4x4)?

Pricing is not 100% finalized, but we expect pricing to be about $150k completely built out with everything one would expect in a full season camper.

You can screw into the floor as it has 5/8" (or 3/4") marine grade plywood inside the panel. For attaching to the wall either glue directly or glue aluminum angle iron and bolt to that. This guy's youtube channel shows how he did things using 80/20 for building out inside.
