Here are some more pictures of the progress of fitting 42" tires on a Dodge 2500 Cummins 4x4... in pictures there are 35" tires on 20" rims. You will notice that I "stitched" the plastic fender wells to pull them back flat against the cut out frame and then coated the stitching with a flexible...
