Hey Robert, did you happen to see a little goofy looking funnel like this? It is required to get the water to push itself into the tank, beyond the swing elbow. The elbow may appear full, but the funnel is required to fill the tank.
If the dealer is handling 100% of their warranty in-house and not relying on the manufacturer for ANY warranty support, it might be worth considering. If the dealer says they submit warranty claims to manufacturer, absolutely do not do that. They have not been supportive.

Any concerns about brush or sticks or other off-road stuff grabbing the wiring for the heating pads, or even the pads themselves? I imagine they're probably in maybe the most vulnerable position for backcountry, unmaintained travel.
