I didn't see any increase or decrease in my mileage. But I did get a little better throttle response. Oh and BTW, watch out for little birdies getting sucked into the airbox. Yep, no kidding! Last time I cleaned the air filter there was a very small in the airbox. Still trying to figure out...

I'm pretty sure the 5000 has it but thought another higher end Nuvi had it as well.

Got mine the other day and am having a blast with it! Having trouble figuring out which ones have the backup camera capability though. Might upgrade/trade in the 500 for one that has it.

Just ordered mine from Amazon as well. Curious as to what the USB cable is for and what are the odds of me already having one that fits? Is this a special cable?
