I am in the process of buying an ‘18 Taco DCSB so your Habitat is a definite possibility. Just not sure I want to handle all that canvas or go with something like a GFC.

Do your pups do ok walking on all that scree and rock above timberline? Mine would probably suffer with tenderfeet. She did climb a 14er once but it was fairly mellow.

Yes, near Newfield. Because it’s a wildlife area they use to say no camping there. We did anyway but I don’t know the current regs.

I was born and raised in Ithaca just a few miles south of Taughannock Falls so I went there often. Really spectacular in the winter when the falls are mostly frozen. The mist freezes on the canyon walls sometimes painting the whole gorge white.
