    There's no MTS in the GX470. Height control and comfort/sport settings are in a single long switch on the left side of the shifter console.

    All 460's have KDSS. It was optional for 470's. Perhaps pookie is referring to rear air suspension?

    After flipping the brackets around, they lined up perfectly with my OEM spoiler holes. Since my OEM spoiler was falling off thanks to previous owner(s), I figured I'd replace it with something better. :D Some more expensive chase bars have amber turn signals - the turn signal wiring for mine...

    OEM cross bars here. I had a rack on my last GX and it really wasn't necessary for what I use it for.

    I love mine, though I think it'd be a bit rough if you're mostly stock otherwise. I have a hidden winch, full skids (aluminum), sliders, and rear bumper / tire carrier and IMO it rides just about perfectly.

    Diff drops in the GX are a bad plan - they reduce clearance more than they help with CV angle.

    lol somehow I missed that part. Yeah, that could be expensive if you're outsourcing the repair. You can get used transmissions on car-part for ~$500, which wouldn't be the end of the world unless labor dramatically shifted the equation. Transfer cases are significantly more expensive.

    Oh yeah, my 80 would go anywhere I pointed it. Just...very slowly, lol. It was an awesome truck but the harsh reality is that I spend far more time on pavement than I do doing fun stuff.

    I had an 80 and actually prefer my GX. The 80 was too slow for a daily driver -- granted, armor and 35's combined with stock gears didn't help :P

    I have a GX470 now, so a little cushier than a 4Runner. I still expect a massive improvement if I step up, though!
