I've got a Gen 3.0 and mine have the bend in the non-hook side. Maybe you got the 3.1 poles? Mine have a bend at 1 inch. Not sure about the exact angle.

Are you by chance storing your Alu-cab ladder inside the tent? It can compress the front seal and let moisture inside.

I'm in Phoenix, and I've had my Alu-cab over a year. I've never ran into this issue. Mine is always bone dry unless it rained when I had it open during a trip. I only air mine out every month or so. I should probably do it more often though.

Glad to see the CFX3 app works better than the CFX app. Never understood why they made the CFX connect with Wifi. That's ridiculous. The CFX app hasn't worked in months, and has always been spotty at best. Now that the CFX3 is out, I imagine the CFX app will be abandoned.
