I run a full size front runner rack. I have found that if I keep ******** on it, it's quieter. Yeah, it surprised me too. Even just a pair of max-traxx up there disrupt flow enough that its quieter than without anything up there.

Spacers aren't required for the LR3, just the LR4.

1 year in (next week, but close enough) and 13k miles - no issues thus far. I think the spacers are required to clear the brake calipers, but I haven't tried putting them on without to test. Maybe I'll do that when it comes time to rotate the tires in a few weeks and will let you know.

What troubleshooting steps lead you to that conclusion? I'm having slightly the same problem - the headlights are on all the time, as are the wipers, if they're in auto mode. I've checked the connections, but not sure what else to do other than start throwing parts at it.

the problem is that if you go with the FR rack, it limits what ladders you can use - to my knowledge, the FR ladder is the only one that will work with their rack, since the rack sits so far back compared to other racks.
