I bought a G-Shock GD 350 a couple of weeks ago. It is robust (as any G-Shock), good looking (stealth), and has direct access to the countdown functionality from the lower right hand button (good for expedition tasks ... oh, wait ... checking the time of a half of a soccer game ;-)

We do have this package in our Little Guy Silver Shadow and it is helpful when you want to charge your laptop, iPods, etc while "being in bed" ... I would definitely recommend it. But we don't have it in our Jeep ...

@ Bubblegoose - it will be hot anyway in summer ... We have a light color (silver) and it still was hot in in when it is 100+ degrees outside. What you should install if it does not have it already is he FanTastic fan that LG offers. This and the open windows in the doors cooled down the inside...

We bought a Silver Shadow this year and used it on a three week road trip from VA to UT/NV/AZ this summer. It towed well and only in the Rockies I had to go back to third gear and see the big trucks passing us by. I drive a 2011 JKU 6 speed manual ... I love the Silver Shadow with its all birch...

Hey, I just saw some older pictures you posted and was wondering what type of roof rack do you have? I am looking for one that doesn't look too bad when opening the soft top (which you have with a squareback roof top). Thanks Roland
