the pump's placement makes it a challenge. There's a lot of stuff right in that space, steering box, transmission cooler lines, etc. Having to pull the pulley adds to the fun because it's very close to the radiator shroud. Then, usually, the clamped hoses are fused to the box - thus bloody...
