Are you using that bar at the bottom of the B pillar for the harnesses? Looks like the angle will be too steep and could cause injury in a crash. Not criticizing your build, I really like what your doing. Just noticed a potential safety issue. Good info on mounting and angles here...

I'm no engineer, but I can't see why the load rating would be affected.

I have seen people cut the top rails off the back portion of the voyager racks so they are able to mount an RTT directly to the floor. That is what I would do if I add an RTT to mine, but I plan to go with a teardrop trailer instead.

I used to see one of those Discos around Birmingham, AL about a year ago. I wonder if this is the same truck?

It's not a diff lock in the STi. It is a Center Diff adjustment knob to send more power to the rear.
