The 4runner would work well for your purpose. There is no efficient way to tow other than diesel or trying to limit the frontal area of you trailer and airstream does pretty well in that regard. I posted my 4runner towing experience here...

Bolts or even rivets are also much easier to repair than welds if you do have a structural failure.

I have read the same thing on Tremor and Ford Truck forums. Members have checked part numbers on the Tremor F250 rear leaf springs and supposedly they are the same as the standard SRW F350 and F350 Tremor. The Ford website where you can configure options definitely doesn't go into that much detail.

Top right corner, Ford Sterling M275. The M275 isn't a Sterling, it's a Dana. Also, the ring gear is more than 10.5 on the M275. It must be a typo.

The document posted above, ("35) seems off without context. It reads "Ford Sterling M275" in the same column but that is 2 different axles. Ford makes the Sterling and Dana makes the M275. Also, I believe the M275 comes with every Diesel SRW including F250s. The Dana also come with the 4.30...
