Tires and wheels are unsprung weight, but yes they do add to the total weight.

We were able to meet up with and host Jan and Mona while they were on their two year expedition crossing the US, Canada, Alaska, down to Tierra Del Fuego journey. (See their website www.panamericana2013.de) I was pretty jealous of their diesel 100 series.

The KDSS is disappearing on my rig. It's great if you plan on keeping the stock suspension. I am still running the front KDSS sway bar but I ditched the rear sway bar a while ago.

I'm enjoying the build. It's nice to see people making it happen on the new 5th gens. I think they are an awesome platform. Way to keep it simple and clean. Was the 100 at Cruiserfest? I would have loved to have seen this there.
