I mounted an AutoHome Air Top on the ARE shell on my F350. The ARE has the same honeycomb re-inforced roof that you describe. We used a set of Yakima tracks. They were supplied with a special set of track bolts and nuts. We drilled through the Honeycomb section near the outer edge, and set the...
I find that I use use the rear entry and side entry on my AutoHome Air Top about equally, and I have a swing away ladder on the back of the Landcruiser. Many of our customers with pick-up trucks like a Columbus tent that opens at the rear, as they can mount it on ladder rack - forward over the...
I bought an Engel MT45 years ago. It has travelled with me in my Landcruiser and F350 from Canada to Mexico. The only times I use a cooler now is in my boat or on the patio to chill beer and pop. This is one of the two BEST pieces of camping equipment I have ever had/bought/seen/heard of...

The Columbus (and all AutoHome tents are best when installed on crossbars. The rack pictured should work well if you fit a pair of crossbars between the side rails - or on top of the rails. The mounting channels on the Columbus run parallel fore and aft and are 24.5" center to center...

Again, please accept my apology at least.
I would like to meet you on the trail, and I am always happy to help a fellow drink his beer :wings:
BEST,
Mike

We have many customers who fit RTTs on standard fiberglass camper shells. I fitted a medium Columbus to the standard ARE shell on my F350 using a Yakima rail system and two cross bars - no re-inforcement required.
Most camper shell manufacturers offer a heavy duty shell designed for carrying...
I have used my Lowe jon boat for years with no problems. War Eagle also has a good reputation in jon boats. But if I was buying today, I would get a welded boat. My experience is that riveted boats used in gravelly areas start to leak at the transom.
But it sounds like you are looking for a...
I think that you are either not getting gas, you are not letting the thermocouple warm up enough, or your thermocouple is defective.
I think that you will also find that this unit does very poorly when asked to chill when running on 12V. 120V is not a problem.
