That’s what the rooftop tent is for. Theirs is a really nice one (as far as rooftop tents go). I’m scared of them because I’d probably break my leg climbing down in the middle of the night to take a piss.
I’m reluctant to mention this because I would like to have it.

I have owned their truck campers and have seen this trailer and their tents personally...
They are out there, you just have to be patient. I looked for a year before I found my 06 in mint condition and 70K miles. I had to pay a little more than I intended but now that I have it, well worth it and glad I did. (I too am in the Portland area)
Good luck with your search.
I went the other direction and am sooo much happier now. Went from a 4 year old Tacoma that I bought new to a 99 land cruiser with <100k last year and couldn’t be happier, then went from a newer Silverado 2500HD to an 06 tundra with <73k. I have a lot less $$$ tied up in super reliable vehicles...
Love the inReach for the simplicity of it, the options for various subscription levels vs. month to month plans, and the geographic coverage provided. Relatively cheap insurance/peace of mind for the user and their loved ones.
Consider a flatbed truck camper. BundutecUSA will custom build to meet your needs and they build a quality product without breaking the bank. There are several other flatbed camper options but based on my research I think BundutecUSA offers the best overall value.
BundutecUSA is, in my opinion, the best value. They offer one of the best customer service experiences of ANY type of company, not just camper companies. They will not only customize but also provide assistance in the design if you want. They build a quality product and provide excellent...
Have you looked at breezer windows? They offer a removable replacement rear window and different boot options to seal the truck to the camper. Very easy to install and if you can fit thru the window frame this may be the best option. No structural compromises, easy, cost effective, and allows...
have a set of Super Springs I used on my 2013 Toyota Tacoma when I had a camper on the truck. They are rated to assist in carrying an additional 1500lbs. I used them for approximately 8000-10,000 miles. Still in great condition. I believe they will work on several other vehicles as well.
Super...
everyone has different wants and needs. I had a small custom camper on a Tacoma and it has been great. Perfect for solo, works well with 2 but requires a little more effort. Heat and outside shower with hot water. No inside water or cooking facilities. After a year and a half we decided we...
I found an 06 double cab with 72k miles. 1 owner, meticulous maintenance records, zero rust. Immaculate condition inside and out. It took about a year to find it but well worth the wait.
