My apology for getting back to you so late...we did display at the event, but at the very last minute I was unable to attend and our cookout was cancelled...I'll make it up to everyone next year and bring the cookout AND beer. Sorry about that, my biggest apology!
Any of our trailers that have our roof rack can support 300#. The thing to remember with an RTT is that on most models, approximately half the weight would be supported by the ladder that comes down...and most RTT's weight about 150-200#...the additional weight of the person minus the weight...
Check out Facebook page for inTech RV and our website at www.intechrv.com for a the most pictures. We will be in full production in about 3-4 weeks, we've built three prototypes that are almost exactly what we're going to be building with a few small changes. We are waiting on some of the...
I've seen their Nest...interesting...but you are correct, they are expensive with everything they build. It's a great brand with a great reputation. I think we're focusing on doing our own thing...and we do it quite different from the others...our all-aluminum, fully welded cage frame is a...
180# of tongue weight...it's very well balanced with the fully loaded weight of 1800#...we've got some pretty good engineers that know what they're doing. We set it up so that we would be able to move the axles if needed during the prototyping stages, but our calculations were right on target...
No skylight, but the front windshield is large...there's a pull down shade the provides some protection from the sun. The trailer has an optional 10,500 BTU A/C with a heat pump (wall mounted thermostat)...that's VERY efficient in the small space. It feels VERY large inside compared to the...
Sorry for the REALLY late reply. The weight fully loaded is 1800# with 180# tongue weight. The unit is 79-1/4" tall and 15' 5" overall length. The sleeping area is 69" wide X 83" long...there are two futon bed style mattresses that can be extended the full 83" length and be folded to a seat...
you might want to go to Costco or Sams Club, they often have large car covers for $29...if needed, you could get two of them and sew them together...a few straps holding it down would keep it stabilized from wind, etc. A small RV cover would work as well, but might not be as affordable.
I'm terrible at followup on this forum...it doesn't help that we just had our biggest dealer event and it has kept me tied up. We do not offer any custom builds, so we are unable to lengthen the box. The standard MAX Flyer PLUS (now called an Explore) is braced and wired for TWO MaxxAir roof...
OK, I know this isn't an expedition style trailer, but I love getting the feedback from you guys. We appreciate everything you've told us regarding our Flyer line of adventure trailers...so here's what we have been working on for the past year:
It's called Luna...it's a small teardrop trailer...
I believe the customers that have used the LocknRoll system did use the direct bolt-on model. I don't know the details beyond that though. There are a few changes coming to the Flyers in the month of September (our model year change), that will include new names...never before mentioned...
Sorry for the late reply. I understand what you're looking for now. I guess the main reason we don't offer this is that the majority of our customers aren't using the trailer in an application that requires this...though it would be nice. Attaching this to an all-aluminum tube frame might be...
Sorry for the late reply, I've been off the forum for a while working on a NEW project!! I don't know much about the Propex heaters, but think I should check them out...I absolutely love the photo you took of your Flyer....that is truly incredible!! I might need to put that one up in our...
My apology for the delayed responses, I haven't been on the forum for quite some time. You can put a roof top tent on the MAX Flyer PLUS, the tent we use is a 23ZERO and they have an extension that fits on the standard ladder (making it a three-piece ladder) allowing it to reach the ground...
Oh...also to clarify, when you do the two tip outs, you do lose the windows and doors and the rear ramp has to become double doors...the double doors have a slider window in each door though, so you still get some light and ventilation. You can also option the double doors in lieu of the ramp...
