If you`re looking into a 3rd gen, you can get leather and a rear locker, with a good lift, it will go just about anywhere, provide a good driver/spotter, and you can supercharge them, lol
If you go with a 4th gen, the V6 is a selectable 4wd, and the v8 is full time 4wd, someone correct me here...

Im not sure about the wheeling an 80, not here anyways, some of our trails are pretty narrow, but Id love to have an 80, always have loved them.

I dont think anyone makes something for the 4th gens, but I havent really looked, Ive got the ARB and a 2.5...
IMHO there is nothing at all, wrong with a spacer lift,, I ran spacers on my 4runner for about 4 years, and wheeled the piss out of it, they are cheaply priced for the lift you need for larger tires.
If you`re not going to wheel it hard, Id leave it.

Ive replaced 3 on my 99 with aftermarket CVs, and zero issues.
Replaced one on the 04 with aftermarket, and zero issues.
On the other side, Ive heard of a couple of people having nothing but problems with the aftermarket CVs.
IMHO its a hit or miss, with aftermarket from places like NAPA they...
I need ideas, thoughts or suggestions, on just how to mount a 2" (back mount) air pressure gauge.
Its a Kobalt part #221013 if it matters, for now, I just got the line from the tank to the gauge.
