I know most manufacturers use numbers at the flywheel. Some recently started using at the wheels I believe. I always heard that some of those Wagens were quick.
My rig was dynoed at 375/422 at the wheels. I want more grunt lol
Hey Jerry! I was just going through old photos and came across this old photo! It was dated Jun 28th 2016. I think I had been at the laundromat in Lander after being out on the road for a bit. I think we had a conversation but can't quite recall. How funny!
Excellent! Did you notice anything out of the ordinary as far as the tent walls being abnormally hot or anything like that? I talked to SeekOutside and they said that they've heard of folks using 45 or 90 elbows for their stoves to accomplish what is done here. Also, what did you use for the...
Stumbled across this as I was doing some research on what i want to do for a heating solution this coming winter. It was up between a lightweight wood stove or a diesel heater. I have a CVT Summit Series RTT. I called and asked CVT what the material was exactly I was told that it 380g poly...
Despite all the work and frustration, I hope you keep it. All that work will make you cherish it more and create a lot of memories with those that helped you along the way and the memories you will make with family and friends in the future.
Thanks, gents! I've pretty much ruled the ARB out and leaning towards the Switch Pro but going to do a bit more looking in to the SPOD as well. I appreciate the info!
Any thoughts on the three would be much appreciated. I want to add ditch lights, chase bar on the rear, compressor and front/rear air lockers (replacing rear diff with custom F9/10.5) Just running out of room and think this would be the easiest and cheaper solution.
this is how it sits...
Just trying to gage interest in front and rear fenders for the second gen Xterra that are Titan Swapped or long travel. I spoke with Hal Hannemann at Hannemann Fiberglass. He has been meaning to get around to doing rears for the 2g Xterra. I said I knew of some folks that were interested...
Very nice. I'd like to get an LS TB on my VK swapped X. Not sure how I am going to get it on there with the Stillen Blower as the Snout/flange is also an integrated as a support for the blower jackshaft
Just curious on what folk's thoughts on this offering from Ford are. I've heard in a video that with the F250 Tremor, you actually get the F350 specs when you get the Tremor package, if that makes any sense. I am looking to get in the Full-size Market in the next year or two and love Super...
I have two Scepter 5 gal MFC containers. I only fill up the tanks when I need them as I don't like carrying the extra fuel if i don't need it. PhullD's mod has been solid and it was expensive, especially since it was in Canadian currency. He had some parts originate from the states and I...
Yes, stock fuel tank. I'll be adding an aux tank sometime this year. PhullD did a great job on his set-up and has been running trouble free for over a year and a half. I also have two five gallon cans and will be installing a Titan Trail Trekker II in a couple of weeks. Im getting around 12...
From what I've heard, they area really well-built engine. The rods are forged but are a bit on the narrow side. I'm looking at building my motor at some point. It's a 2015 with 5,700 miles on it. I have the JWT CS2 cams along with the NGK R8 coils and that sound is great, especially through...
Yeah that was quite a boondoggle there with the location and timing of everything. Just glad you got it back on the road in a timely matter and now it's on to another good owner so it seems!
Really looking forward to the progress of this build and the journeys it will take you and your...
I like the Ecoboost but given the choice, I'd take the VD, 5L Coyote and the 7.3L Godzilla. My buddy that has wrenched for Ford for 28+ years said they area good engine for the most part but he would never own one out of warranty, He drives the F150 V8 and it gets respectable mpgs. Now if you...
