    Beagle - Rescue

Ian, nice to meet you and Jackie last night. The still as yet un-named doggie howled for 20 minutes on the way home last night, then settled down. He and our lab hit it off right away. He has taken to the boys real fast too. Ok, now we need Expo members' help. He needs a name. We're...

Nice ride. I own a 2007 set up with a dirt suspension. These bikes do alot of things real well, nothing spectacularly. Solid ride.

1990 Yamaha XT350 Dual Sport Motorcycle, in Los Angeles

Must ... get .. back .. to work ... and stop ... looking at ... cool ... expo ... vehicles. I can't believe you still have this thing at that price. Take it to Cal City next weekend, park it at the MX track with a sign on it. It'ss likely be gone fast.

Warn M15000 winch on CL $600! (Ca)

If I did not have a good used $12k winch already, I'd be checking it out too.

FS: 1997 Honda XR650L in DFW (Denton)

That's easily fixed though. You have a good price on it, so good luck on the sale. The plate alone is worth $1k in Calif. given our goofy dual sport laws. My neighbor has the same bike, it is indestructible. I think he'll be including in his will in 20 years.

    Kilby rant

Yep, totally agree Scott. The OP (and all of us) should contact the manufacturer first. My comments were more directed to the response posts suggesting that it's ok for a manufacturer to design for multiple purposes and still claim "bolt on" applicability. I understand the dilemna they face...

    Kilby rant

As a former TJ owner, I can relate to the OP and I think you guys are being unduly hard on him. It's frustrating to buy what you believe to be a quality bolt on product and find out that it was made with so many different combinations in mind that it is difficult to make it work with what you...

    GPS- What are you using?

Garmin Nuvi 500 in the TLC and DeLorme PN20 on the motorcycle. While certainly not perfect, the Garmins are pretty good.

    top mods for the price

ARB tire repair kit- $20 at the offroad show 2 years ago. Used too many times to count on mc/ atv tires, friends jeeps, my own once. Hand throttle for manual transmission- $10. Absolutely essential when you need that 3rd foot. 12 volt outlets- can't have enough of them it seems!

How do I convince my wife we need this 109?

I justify all such purchases as "emergency" equipment. I have a garage and driveway full of "emergency" equipment now. Seriously, there is some great advice in this thread. When I recently bought my new (to me) FJ80, the wife told me I could keep the Jeep too, but I just could not justify it...
