Not sure about this vehicle, I’m new to the platform, but I do know bad hubs and wheel bearings can cause various fault codes in other vehicles because the play can give bad readings to the ABS/speed sensor.
This will be a fun one to watch. Starting to see a few LR4’s on CaB finally, its been Range Rovers and DI/DII for the longest time. Folks are starting to catch on.
As mentioned earlier in the thread I like the license plate blocked out with a thumb (or detailing rag), but get an extra kick out of it when they post the VIN.
Looking to buy a set of Melvill and Moon (or comparable canvas) seat covers for our LR3 HSE. I’ve really taken to the M&M covers, however my wife is pushing for something more budget friendly. I’m hoping someone has a set of used covers they are ready to part with.
Our LR3 is an HSE Lux 7...
Thanks for the update, I appreciate it. PM me if its’s easier to sort details. We’re excited to “trick out” our new LR3, but it’s not urgent. Still a few weeks out from any trips that we are planning to bring the dog along.
This rocks! I’ve been thinking about doing this exact thing to my LR3. Nice to see it’s been done (well being the first may have been cooler!) and working well.
Hoping your parts shelf didn’t tip over on you?
I got some quotes for shipping, I’m willing to eat the full cost ($150) if you’d drop off at a GreyHound station near you. Quotes for a door pickup or FedEx and UPS were double that assuming it stayed under the limit for non-freight shipping...
Fuel Safe looks like the place order them from, offer code for 15% off when you join a mailing list drops it to $250 and free shipping on a 5gal. Are there any creative options for storing these full that you couldn’t do with a jerry can because they are soft sided?
